Let me just start off by saying that this isn’t going to really come off as a Start Planner Review as much as its going to come off as a “brag”! Imagine me enjoying my new 2017 Hustle Weekly Start Planner and saying “na na na na na” because that’s kinda how I feel ??
My 2016 planner was the Hustle Business Start Planner and you can see my post about that here. I was really struggling to pull the trigger on this new Hustle Weekly because I loved my Hustle Business so much but let me tell you…I’m so glad I did! I’m fairly busy but not the kind of busy that requires me to track my To Do’s daily. I’m more of “at some point I need to get to this..” and I also really love seeing my week. I struggle with working day to day I like to plan ahead a bit and see what the rest of my week is looking like and that’s where this Hustle Weekly comes in.
First off let’s go with the most obvious difference. The size! It is much bigger than my Hustle Business and also a lot thinner. Depending on your preference this is a good or bad thing. Personally it’s a good thing. I don’t mind the bigger size, I actually very much prefer it for handling purposes and am really digging the thinner size. I love the cover, the fun color the motivating quote…all great things! The size also gives you a lot more room for writing in your monthly overview, another thing I really needed!
The sections are all very similar. You have Goals and Plans and those break down even further into Vacation Planning, Holiday Planning, Big Picture Goals, Mini Goals, Projects, Household Items by season and Financial! Start Planner has put so much thought into what you really need to manage your household and finances and it’s all in these two sections. Thank You!
Once you get into the actual months and weeks you’ll find even more pages to help you crush your goals and stay on track. Mini Goals for each month, a page dedicated to Notes and a Health Check where you can enter measurements and weight! The week is then broken down into two pages with a running To Do list on the left hand side and space for your Top 3 To Do Items right up above. Your days are then broken up into hours with little dots to mark 30 minute increments. At the bottom of each day you have additional space for notes, reminders, a recap of your day, a motivational quote or whatever you’d like to use it for! And at the very bottom of every day you have your water intake (stay hydrated peeps!), mark off whether you took your supplements and check off a completed workout! I love that I have more space with this bigger size, more space to write and more space to plan!
I couldn’t help myself I also needed to order the new Pen Pal which is a very cute pen holder that tapes onto the back of your planner – no more searching for a pen! Check out the Start Planner video on the new Pen Pal and how you can use it for just about anything!
So what are the Drawbacks on the 2017 Hustle Weekly Start Planner. As far as I can see there are none! And if I had to get all picky about it then I would say that I’m going to miss the Business Finance section that I had in my Hustle Business. Had they produced a Weekly Business I am absolutely positive I would have chosen that.
Let me also add that I’m a complete fan of the Daily Hustle and had the Weekly not been available I would have ordered another Business Hustle because it is seriously the BEST planner I’ve come across and have personally used. If you’re on the fence about ordering a planner for 2017 I would highly recommend you DO IT and order quickly. I believe the Hustle Weekly is already sold out (can you even believe that?!) but they still have Hustle Daily, Hustle Business as well as a planner called Fancy Pants. You can check out their entire line here. In addition to planners they also sell super cool pencils ✏️ (I ordered two packs this year), downloadable print outs to help you with home and business and FREE desktop wallpapers (I downloaded ALL of them and my Mac rotates them every 10 minutes ?). The Start Planner company is doing all things right from the packaging to the customer service, I’m not only a fan of their product but also of their business model.
